This website or blog is to record my time in Sydney (and any travels?), to share with family/friends and look back on later : )
I am studying at the University of Groningen from August to December 2025 University of Sydney “USYD”. The courses I take are: Chemical Biology, Applied Neuroscience, Pharmacology for Pharmacy and Beyond the Genome.
The preparation was quite a bit of work, from registering, enrolling, applying for a visa, coordinating courses here and there to insurance matters, housing and banking!
But I did it: I'm in Australia!
It takes some getting used to the scale, Australia is quite big…
And here I live, right in the heart of Sydney, near the university and also reasonably close to the city center. The beach is a bit further away, though.
