Sunrise and campus race

I did it, I woke up at 4:00 AM! Way too early. Luckily, there were already buses going to Town Hall station, where we'd arranged to take the bus to Macquarie Lighthouse together. Even though it was early, we had a nice chat on the bus. So, we watched the sunrise; it was still a bit chilly this early, but the view was absolutely beautiful! We took way too many pictures, of course. We spotted dolphins! We walked along the coast and went to the other side where there was a small bay. We got breakfast together around eight. There were a lot of cockatoos in the area; we saw so many! In one spot, there were even ten of them sitting almost next to each other. I'd never seen those birds (in the wild), but apparently, they're common here. They're real screamers; they can really scream, hahaha. It reminded me of the movie Rio. I also saw a few green parakeets (?). Cool to see the difference in species! By 10am I'd already completed 10,000 steps, a new record I think.

In the afternoon, I had a campus race, which mainly involved tasks like "find a specific location," "take a photo of..." and some questions. I wasn't a big fan of the group I was in; I didn't really connect with them, or something like that. Some people simply didn't speak at all, or spoke in a different language. Luckily, a few people were fun to chat with.
