Departure NL -> AUS

Finally, done packing and... off we went! Suitcase checked in at the counter and soon after, goodbye at the gates.

My flight:

I thoroughly enjoyed myself on the plane, from looking out the window to playing games to watching movies, and of course, a (not so successful) attempt at sleep. Oh, and I actually quite enjoyed the airplane food! The first flight (6 hours) was fine and flew by pretty quickly. The second flight (14 hours) got a bit tiresome after sitting for so long, but the people next to me were asleep, so I didn't want to wake them. Coincidentally, there was a Dutch guy next to me on that second flight, who also goes to the University of Sydney—"small world," as they say. Doha airport was also quite beautiful, quite large, with a courtyard and interesting artwork/statues.

Finally, I landed safely on both flights and got through the Australian Border Force without any problems, yay! And after a short wait, a shuttle bus took me to my room. Everyone drives on the left here ;)
