Yesterday I took a recovery day: relaxed, did some paperwork, and unpacked my suitcase. Today I met a few people: a couple of housemates and the landlord and landlord. They're nice people, but unfortunately, some of the housemates aren't very sociable.
Spent some time walking around the campus and its surroundings. It's a beautiful campus! The Quadrangle building (Oxford/Cambridge/Harry Potter style) is especially beautiful, as two married couples also thought. I saw two wedding photoshoots today. It was Saturday, so there was a match going on; I think it was Australian rules football? Oh, and I saw my first "bin chicken," or ibis. It looks scary with that beak, but it has more of a pigeon-like character.
Made another trip to Broadway for stuff/groceries.
